Shaku Kojyu

Shaku Kōjyū is a Rinzai Zen priest ordained in Kyoto in 2008 in the Daishū-in line of Sōkō Morinaga, and since 2018 the second abbot of **Daishu-in West** in Garberville, California[1]. He succeeded the monastery's founder-abbot **Shaku Daijō** on Daijō's death in April 2018 and now leads the residential training schedule that Morinaga and Daijō established as a Western extension of the Daishū-in sōdō[1].
